Okay so I just had a random thought, I can't say I've really done this before.. but do guys cuddle with their guy friends? Like just platonically? Because I saw two of my friends cuddling at a party and I didn't know if this was a thing that people do or not lol. I mean like I'm not against it, do what makes you happy but I was just wanting some feedback if it's normal for guys to do this platonically? Thanks :)

    I don't think its normal but I don't care what other ppl want to do so if thats some thing that makes them happy then carry on.

    I'm a Christian, and part of a pretty tight knit group of friends, I am one of the newer members, but there is a lot of stuff that goes on around us that many might think is a little gay. Especially one of my friends who is pretty close to me, and people joke about him being gay. but he clearly isn't. some people are just more secure about who they are and don't mind showing affection to their friends. He just recently started going with my sister and their were sitting on the couch cuddling and holding hands, and I went over to sit next to him and he put his arm around me and said he loved me. we play sports together and afterwards when we are socializing he rest his head on my legs quite often. we hug and say "I love You man" pretty much on a regular basis, in fact I hug pretty much all my close guy friends when greeting and saying goodbye.

    I really don't think that two straight guys cuddling happens very often. Usually only if the alternative is hypothermia and death.

    I think we have to define what is cuddling in this context?

    Are they both sitting in a dark corner at the party, kissing each others' necks and beards, rubbing their hands up each others shirts? If so that's a step beyond into gay territory (not that there's anything wrong with that).

    I think a hug is very different to cuddling. Lots of guys give a quick hug if they're really good buddies and maybe haven't seen each other in while.

    No, it is definitely not normal unless the guys are gay and are planning on tonguing each other's anuses after cuddling!

    Maybe your friends are together and not telling you? Its not generally considered socially acceptable for two males to cuddle NO.
