Yes, it's normal. You should shoot with your dominant EYE, not hand, so a lot of people end up shooting with the 'wrong' hand.
I write with my right, play music right, mouse right - but golf, baseball other stuff I am a lefty.
I'm right handed, but I eat, drink, play wii, use a computer mouse, and basically everything else with my left :P
It's completely normal!
The only thing I do right-handed is write. So apparently that makes me "right-handed" even though I eat, play darts, go bowling, bat, play tennis, pitch, and golf all with my left hand.
To the person who said you should shoot with your dominate EYE and not hand, that makes a lot of sense to me since my left eye is my "good eye" and my right eye is my "bad eye".
And who cares what your friends think. Mine are always making comments about me playing darts with my left hand. They are just jealous that I'm so good. =P You should look at it the same way if they say anything about you shooting a bow with your left hand.
It is completely normal! Many people use their opposite hands to do everyday jobs, like I apparently hold my cutlery with the wrong hand.
I think it's normal. For me, my right hand the "dominate" hand and the left is the "submissive" hand. Haha:) Don't worry about what your friends think.
I think it is normal but this may be because I do the same when bow hunting. I am right handed and shoot left when bow hunting, playing baseball, golfing and playing hockey.
I'm officially right-handed but I always open doors with my left, hold drinks in my left, use cutlery in the "wrong" hand, and favour my left for anything that requires strength. It's so rare that people notice, I've never really had to think about it. And if people are going to judge me over whether I do something with my right hand or left hand, they're not the kind of people I want to know. It's about an unimportant a thing as I can imagine.
I'm mildly ambi, but mainly right. I use my right for things that need accuracy (writing, drawing, playing darts, playing snooker) and my left for strength (lifting stuff, opening doors). The only weird crossover is cups and cutlery where I use my left but should really use my right.
