Is it normal if i intensely fear uncooked cheese
And by intensely I mean I quiver when it's near me, shake uncontrollably if it so much as touches me, and have done CBT to attempt to alleviate the fear (to no avail).

Isn't all cheese really cooked anyway? I mean doesn't all milk have to be heat treated, they made it a law or some shit because there is something that can be spread that can make you very ill.
maybe you were molested with cheese and its a repressed memory. no idea why someone would feel this way, but I feel the same (to a less extreme degree) about sunflowers and mushrooms. so maybe we’re just born like this?
Only if it's generic "Swiss" cheese that you find in the states. That shit is traumatizing when it isn't melted, but some how magically delicious when it is.
Unpasteurized raw milk cheeses that you find in Europe can be AMAZING though, many of the best come from France and Switzerland so go figure.
I don't have this same level of intense emotion about it, but I typically prefer melted cheese as well, and I'm not a huge fan of American (processed) cheese unless it's on a burger, melted. Even then, my preference would be cheddar slices. The thought of eating un-melted American cheese is pretty revolting to me.
