Is it normal if i'm scared of the 1900's?

I've always been afraid of the 1900's since I was little. It reminds me of a very depressing and dark time. Just yesterday I thought I was over my fear until my little sister was watching the original Gumby show. I was watching it and there was a part where these space people were going to kill him. And there was also a part where he had to go to a mental hospital. After that, my fear came back. Is it normal?

    I and everyone else on this site over the age of 12 are from the 1900's. So scary.

    For buddhists, you are in 2556, for hebrew, even further with 5772, and the byzantine even at 7520.
    If you prefer the other direction, the islamic calendar is at 1433 or the coptic calendar for 1728.

    Why be afraid? Time can't be rewritten (unless you're on Doctor Who), so the 1900s can't come back and hurt you in any way. If you don't like their media, then it's pretty easy to avoid.

    I find the 00's a lot more depressing. Ever since 9/11 the world has gotten worse by the day and this Great Depression is the sherry on top... :-(

    Luckily, the 1900's have gone now. Even if they hadn't, it's not like they were going to mutate, grow legs and hunt you down. You have more to fear from Robert Patrick on that score. And, even then, only if you're called John Connor.
