Is it normal if my dog constantly sleeps next to me?

My yellow lab named Tilly always wants to sleep in my room and jump on my bed. Is this normal?

Haha. Just dont let him be at a physically higher level than you. For example, if you're sitting in a rug and your pet wants to climb the sofa to sit and watch you. If you allow the dog to achieve this, he will think he's the leader of the pack. Ppl think theres nothing wrong with this until they see behav issues out of nowhere..and the dog will slowly begin to think its even okay for him as pack leader to "correct" you (i.e. be agressive)

Yes I think that's adorable, your dog loves you and obviously wants to be warm and safe at night.

It's better than you having your dog freese outside on a "chain" which should be called torture device unless you are somewhere hot

Normal for a dog that lives inside the house. Dogs like to be near their owner.

    My dog sleeps outside.
I've actually trained him so well that he now refuses to enter the house.

He's a family pet, but I think I'm his favourite because he always brings the ball to me when anyone else tries to play fetch with him.

  • My doggie likes to sleep on top of the pillow above me. She's really the perfect size, sometimes I use her as a pillow.
