Is it normal im a giver on accident.

There's been several times where I just something away that I like to perhaps a coworker but regret it and I also offer to give then an item I don't truly want to give away if I think about it. It's like this impulse. Is this normal?? Have you done this? I'm trying to break the habit.

I'm reading the book "The Nice Factor" and I think you probably can't accept them complimenting you on something nice that you own because you maybe feel guilty that you've treated yourself to it. Or, you think they're saying it because they want it but in reality they just want to pay you a compliment.

Just accept it graciously and feel that you ARE worthy of owning nice things.

Sounds like a bad habits that may have you despise the people who take what you give them.

In a world full of purposeful takers your future looks bleak. In order to restore the balance to your negative giving habits, just do what i do and steal candy from 7/11. Its impossible to steal slurpees though, they always know. No weezing the ju-ooose! WEEZE THE JUICE!

I've done it. I have a really bad habit of doing this with my own money. I don't know what it is, but I just always feel like giving my money away. I always end up feeling sorry for someone, if they say they forgot their money, or that they don't have the money for something, I get an urge to just give it away. And its weird for me because I was never like that before. Just started acting this way last year. I was always raised to be more wise with my money. And I'm really good at not spending it on myself. I have a lot saved. I mean, its kinda common sense too, just don't give your money away so freely. I try to tell myself that. But I noticed that I spend my money more on other people then myself. Yeah, well I'm just getting more sensitive as I get older, maybe thats why. I just feel bad for some people. Plus, I'm kinda worried if one day, in the future, I hit rock bottom.

I don't know. Maybe you feel bad for some people too, so you make sacrifices.
