Is it normal it bugs me when people say "ipod" insted of "ipod"?

It annoys the crap outta me! Like one post says "I love my Ipod!" and i'm like iPod! It's iPod!
is it normal this annoys me this much?

    That doesn't annoy me.

    What does annoy me is when people say iPod when they actually mean any mp3 player.

    I used to be particular about only using iPod over ipod or Ipod, but now it's just too much work to justify playing with capitalizations every time I write it. So I usually just put ipod. No caps. Admittedly Ipod does look a little funny to me. What about "pod of i"

        Haha one of those stupid assumptions some iNerds have of people who don't buy their mainly status-orientated products which are about 50% more expensive than they are worth...

        No I don't buy Apple products ANYMORE because they bother me and are just not worth their money...

        Nevertheless, the products aren't that bad just too expensive and not good enough to meet my technical standards!
