Is it normal my boobs look like this?

Ok. So basically I'm scared.

I'm 17 years old (so not an older woman, meaning I wouldn't have as high a chance of breast cancer but I guess it's still possible?)

A few months ago I was taking a shower and suddenly noticed really really visible veins all over my chest and boobs. I am very pale, but it was so odd that these veins were not there before. Since then they have not gone away. One very thick one leads to my right breast.

My breasts are always sore. Recently I noticed very visible red stretch marks on both of them. On my right one, about half the breast is reddish.

I'm extremely worried.. I don't know if this is normal in puberty and if I'm still growing (do 17 year olds' boobs still grow?) or if I should actually be panicking right now and worrying that I have breast cancer.

Please help. :'(

    That is incredibly normal. Your boobs will get stretch marks as you grow, and if you are pale, veins will show up. They are sore because of hormonal changes and growth. You definitely don't have cancer.

    I'm a guy so don't know how much my opinion helps but everything you've described sounds normal to me.

    Veins & stretch marks are very common, especially if you're pale as Autumn said.

    I know from girls I spent time with while they were teens that boobs do indeed hurt while they grow & are sometimes still growing at 17.
    I'd guess you're having a growth spurt, hence the sudden stretch marks.

    If you're still concerned see your doctor but I think you're perfectly fine : )

    Rather than trust people on the internet to remotely diagnose your breast issue go and see a doctor about it. It'll help put your mind at ease.

    I understand that you are OK. But nevertheless, I hope that you can find a nice boyfriend to gently stroke them and kiss them. Loving care can make a big difference.
