Is it normal: my brother actually performed an exorcism

so I have a story. My brother and his girlfriend were walking around campus after a party and on that night like two years ago there had been a suicide and they just felt like evil around them and they couldn't even explain it.

And so they were passing a chapel and they heard screaming and curses and so they went inside and there was someone they knew and she was drunk as fuck and she kept changing voices and personalities and and they looked in her eyes and it wasn't her.

She was possessed with like five different demons! And so my brother and his girlfriend were trying to perform an exorcism and when they touched her they felt the demons actually trying to attack them.

But they talked to the demons and kept asking for their names and idk all of them but one of them said he was loneliness. And he said it through the girl but it sounded like a guy. And so they cast out the demons but it took like an hour and they were constantly praying and calling us to pray

But there might still be 1 demon left in her cuz a guard came in and kicked them out cuz they didn't believe the story he just thought she was drunk. But he says there is still evil around campus and for us to be praying for him.

I thought this stuff only happened in movies and I'm not a believer of supernatural things but I believe they were demons from the devil.

    You're suppose to cast them to the sea. Now they are just dwelling around waiting to invade other people. Bravo.

    They got them out by holding onto the girl and saying. "in the name of Jesus Christ I command you to get out" but it wasn't that easy. It took a lot of time and energy. And my questions is. Where do the demons go after they left her? I'm pretty sure they find other people who have little or no faith in god. Btw a guy that had no faith at all saw the end of the experience and he all of the sudden went grey and he could hardly move or talk he was just struck by everything and now he's taking an interest in Christianity.

    Just so everyone knows this has nothing to do with an occult

    1st.. When Jesus casted out demons from people he sent them back to the Abyss. there has to be a specific place to send them too or else they will leave the body and linger around the area.
    2nd.. Your brother could have also talked to the girl and told her to accept Jesus as her Savior. If she did the demons would lose control of her immediately. If not, even if the demons left, they can always return to her body because she is unsaved.
    3rd.. There is always a spiritual doorway that was opened that let the demons posses the girl, she has to find out what let them in, ask Jesus to forgive her for doing those things. ( Ouija board, Tarot readings, seeing Psychics, Astrology, ect.)

    Your brother did the right thing to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. However, there are other things he could have done to fully help the demon possessed girl.
