Is it normal my cat sucks its belly

when my kitten was a little baby she has a wound on her stomach and would suck and lick it all the time. shes almost a year old now and has become a big baby....the wound is long gone but she still sucks her belly and falls asleep doing that.

her hair on her stomach are soooo soft and long when shes dried

    i guess they just got into a habit. if it doesnt hurt it then i dont see the problem. also it could be cleaning itself.
