Is it normal my cock stings at the base and tip?

So, I was having troubles with my cock before but that's nothing unusual. However lately I get a feeling similar to a small knife cutting through the tip or into my lower body from the base. Like a metal ruler being implanted and it doesn't fit and just wants to get out. I'm pretty sure that this isn't normal, but is this just a normal condition that needs treatment or something more serious? I'm worried but afraid of doctors.
