Is it normal my dog ate my vomit?
I drank a lot and threw up before going to bed the other night, but was too sick to clean it, so I decided to clean it in the morning.
But when I woke up, my dog was eating my puke. What's up with that?

Yeah, it is normal, dogs do that. They also eat and lick things way worse than vomit, so think twice the next time you want to give Mr. Poodles a slobbery kiss on the mouth ;)
Dogs will eat anything, even human shit! They are the filthiest creatures on earth.
Enough with the mean dog comments. That dog is not "SOO DISGUSTING", all dogs do it. Infact most people I know their dogs eat vomit. Dogs eat poo, it's completly normal. They are curious and want to see what it is. Obviously they wont get a microscope, examine and write an assessment about it, they taste it to see what it is. Please ignore these stupid 10 year old cat lovers and do NOT put him down!
Oh this made me have a flashback. When I was about 9 or 10 we had this devil dog who would take a shit, eat it, puke, eat it and so on. I was laying on the floor watching tv one day with my hair all layed out on the floor and the dog came over sniffin and guess what? He threw up all over my hair! I was sooooo disgusted! I got up and quickly walked to the bathroom, leaning back so my hair wouldn't touch me, and took a long shower. It was nastyyyy!!!!
Dogs eat vomit all the time. There's even a reference to it in - I kid you not - the Bible.
My dog has eaten/tried to eat almost everything. Chewing gum, nut shells, stones, horse poop, cat poop, even her own vomit, so I'd say it's normal.
