Is it normal my dog is a sexist traitor?

He's friendly, but not overly so.
He goes out on the hunt.
His sweat smells different and sounds different than the other person in the pack, and he is mating with her.

He must be the alpha male! God-King of the Pack. How i admire him! I wish he would take me on the hunt with him.

I have a racist cat. We should form a support group.

Get another dog, and make him jealous!

Don't worry it's probably because he's "new" to the dog. Dogs are not as intelligent as us so if there's something new, he'll want to investigate. Hope this helps!

I've only experienced this with female dogs. They really like me. Male dogs get all angry and defensive, but girl dogs are always excited to see me. I'm assuming it's because both male and female dogs recognise I'm male; so male dogs are protective of their territory, bitches are submissive, or sluts.

Don't worry, I have a female dog, I feed her an love her and play with her but she doesn't even listen to me, only to my bf cause he's 'alfa' Bleh!!!! Don't feel bad...it's perfectly normal...lol

Does he provide the dog with boundaries, discipline, assertive dominance? He has potentially set himself up as "alpha" in the existing pack which is why the dog is responding to him as such. My partner, though he loves our dogs and they him cannot discipline them at all. They follow me around like a bad smell, cos i am "the
Boss", but all it has to do with really is being the assertive leader in the group.

And that's why men rule in the home... even the dog accepts it.. :))

He isnt engaging in bestiality with the dog is he? If he is it could explain the reason the dog more closely associated with him then with you.

It's normal for a dog to favour one gender over the other, my moms friend has a dog that's scared of males. I'm sure your dog still loves you, since you raised him.

My cats like me more than my boyfriend since I show them more love. I don't know what is wrong with your dog.

That happened between my boyfriend and my cat. Every time he comes home, my cat is ALL over his lap. And he isn't even overly nice to her. But I'm home with this fucking cat all day, and she pretends like I'm not even there. Cats are bitches... And sexist.... And they just sit there and silently judge you... That bitch...

Common with dogs- I always walked/washed/fed/played with my dog and she would follow me everywhere. Dad gets home, my dog was sitting at his feet. Dad was 'alpha male' to the dog
