Is it normal my dreams affect my mood the next day?

I frequently have vivid, sometimes depressing dreams. The next day I will be depressed and feeling down from it.

Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone :(

It is quite often my mood is effected by my dreams. The phrase "getting up on the wrong side of the bed" can often be attributed to the mood one's dreams leaves him/her in.

My ex girlfriend would be angry with me if she had a bad dream with me in it.
    Un-real.

Yeah, that's freaking crazy! You are not responsible for her subconscious mind.

This happens to me all the time and I think it reflects what you're feeling inside.

I reckon dreams are caused by feelings as well as the other way round and if you're having depressing dreams there's a fair chance something is going on you're not dealing with and your dreams are telling you so
