So recently me and my mom have started arguing a lot. Most the time we argue, she tells me to kill myself and a few times she has said she hopes that I get hit by a car. Is this normal?
Is this your real mom and where is your dad do you have siblings how old are you it is not normal next time she tell you that you take a belt and start hitting her with it.
Yea but c'mon, what are you saying first? Something along the lines of "oh F U mother, OMG you are destroying my life, will you die already, mum stay out of my room".

i think these sayings have become a turn of phrase for some people. she does not mean it, or at least i am almost one hundred percent sure. it is like saying you're gay or i hate life. people say these things or said these things and at a certain point realize they need to stop. but you will still hear people say these things.
Try communicating with her the least possible or just try not to argue as much I tried both with my mother and they both worked
That's terrible. A mother is supposed to support her children and provide a nonjudgmental place for them to vent. It's normal to fight, but to tell someone else to end their own life is something else. Here's hoping things get better for you.
I agree. She is supposed to be your mother and part of that responsibility is being an adult and providing you with stability.
You do not deserve to be treated that way. The best revenge is to do well and tell yourself that one day you'll be successful and away from that bitch.
