i just made profiles on myspace and friendster and said on them hey you should add me and so far noone has talked to me at all! :(

What isn't normal is that you actually want friends on these dipshit sites!
Not a bad laugh... I hate it when people say "You should add me" Why should I add you? Who are you? Do I know you? You tryin' to stalk me or something :D ? If you are someone who I know in real life, I'll go and drink a beer with you. If you are an attention slut, I will ignore you.
I think you shouldn't write anything. They'll automatically add you in if you don't say anything about it. Besides, you've got us to cheer you up. We talk to you.
Depends if your a twat. If you are no one will want to add you. If your Mr.Quiet, no one will know who you are. Be more charismatic and get the fuck out there! None of your potential "buddies to be" are going to add you if you sit there crying over the fact that they wont. Sitting still pondering leaves you in a depressive ditch.

I wouldn't take it personally though. I remember when myspace was in, I used to get friend requests from people I didn't even know, and I wouldn't accept, because... well, I didn't know who they were.
If you really want to meet people and make friends, you should go out and talk to these people face to face. And if you want to stick to building friendships on these sites you go on, be more descriptive in your profile box. Likes/dislikes, hobbies/interests, etc. And when you ask people to be your friend, let them know that you're just looking for someone to talk to. Be honest with them, but don't be offended if people don't accept, because I doubt its because they have a problem with you personally. Best wishes!
