Is it normal not to face my fear?

When I was younger, the adults in my family used to scare me to obey their orders. They would scare me by talking about 'Chucky' and how it will come haunt me if I didn't listen. Eventually, nightmares of that doll got to me. I would take a shower and look everywhere in case. I can't even type its name on Google because I know its pictures would show up as a result.

So, is it normal that I'm already a young adult and is still a wuss about it?

  • It's perfectly normal to feel this way after traumatic events in one's childhood.

LOL, it's ok. I've actually watched all the chucky movies alone coz i found them quite funny esp. when chucky & his wife couldn't decide on a gender for their kid. afterwards, i just shit my pants at night trying not to think about him. D:
