I met a man on a social networking app 6 months ago - we talk on the phone all the time - text and email, as well. I feel extremely emotionally attached to this person and can't seem to shake it. Is this normal??

    This is an inner need. Not only acceptable, but a must have for ones own sanity. Dean Martin said, "everybody love's somebody sometime" and have you seen the Movie, You've Got Mail? Without communication, there can be no reality.

    YES people portray this facade over the internet and you probably have this person idolized in your mind why dont you try meeting up with him

    It is nice to feel that emotional attachment, the real test will be when you guys spend real time together, good luck! Hope he isn't married!

    Normal. Because you haven't met, he's everything you want him to be, in your head! Meeting will be different. I don't know the circumstances that keep you apart, but be careful.
