Is it normal people who do not take care of electronics piss me off? I have always taken great care of my stuff. Granted at the moment I sold or gotten rid of most of it but generally when I get something expensive like that it stays in good condition. Yet there is so many people who buy this kind of stuff and ruin it very easily. It just pisses me off no one takes care of their shit ever! I don't know if maybe im just OCD but if you buy something shouldn't you take care of it? If you give me something like a MP3 it will last as long as I own it. If you give it to someone else they break it in a month. It annoys me how irresponsible people are.

Why in the world would you care what other people do with their things? What business is it of yours anyway?
Why don't you just worry about your stuff and let them do as they damn well please with theirs, without judging them?

I'm not sure if it's just irresponsibility, or also lack of value. I mean I am an irresponsible person, I've dropped my samsung galaxy 2 has dropped about from about 2-3 feet a good number of times, just because i left it on the couch or table and knocked it over. But I also noticed after the first month, I stopped getting worried, maybe because the first few times nothing happened, you just get use to the idea that it's unbreakable. And then it happens and your phone turns off whenever it pleases. I wish I placed more value on it.

I don't understand it either and I hate it when someone borrows my electronics because they won't take care of it as I do.

Despite previous input, its fine to dislike those who don't take care of their electronics. Its not like OP is saying he is going to light anyone who mistreats items on fire or takes it that seriously, it just sparks a little anger in them. I'm going to have to agree with this too. Note that sometimes, accidents happen and I too have accidentally laid down on my bed to go "!...that better not have been..." and end up going to the store to get some more headphones.

Outside of that though, I have lent my cousin and a few other people in the past some of my video games, back then being Playstation 1, and my discs either didn't find their way back to me or if they did, they had fingerprints, scratches or worse, froze at some point in the game irreversibly. That lets me know that they just straight have no respect or care for discs and are the type to lay them down on a table, desk or wherever they feel like it. Since then I've learned not to lend my stuff out except to one person who I KNOW treats his and my stuff properly.

There's a benefit to people not taking care of their things. If people break one thing and immediately buy another, then more of these will have to be produced. If more are produced then prices can go down as the R&D costs are then split up farther among more units.

It's because they didn't have to work hard for and earn those items.
