Is it normal public urination in your country?

I live in the US in Southern California and it's uncommon unless you are downtown in an area with many hobos who tend to be on the mentally disturbed side. I totally don't understand why people feel the need to piss in front of others. Find a nice, private tree.

Idk about you guys but I live in America, my pops taught me to piss on trees when there's no bathroom in around, when I was just a youngin'.

I didn't know people were this prude about public urination. It's not like when you spot somebody pissing outside, he somehow knew that YOU would be there and did it to offend you.

I live in Dublin and if go into the city centre on the weekend there's often lines of strapping young men pissing, public urinal style, next to the bus stops amid high heeled girls stepping over their flowing rivers of urine, in full view of everyone. This'd be around 10pm

Its common here (Scotland) every one including kids are drunk in the part I live so they just pee everywhere ><

i think guys should be able to pee in public any way as long as its NOT at a park with little kids or anything like that you know what im sayin

We have open-air toilets now which are basically like four small urinals, one facing East, one West, one North and one South and all joined at the back.

It can be a bit disconcerting getting your bits out in a public place as women and children walk within inches of you, and also standing face-to-face with another man while you pee, but most people only use them at night-time (rather than pee down some alley).

What's the big deal about a guy taking a piss outside?

It's normal to do a lot of things, as long as your culture is accustomed to it.

Anytime I go on a night out guys always piss outside, I actually know a group of guys who used to poo on top of people cars, that stopped when they got caught doing it to a police car.

I have only witnessed this once or twice. Both were men. One stood sideways and peed behind a bowling alley in broad view another was near the same bowling alley and this it behind a mailbox. There was one guy that did it, but he when in the forrest so, I guess that doesn't really count. What country is this if you don't mind my asking? Screw public toilets! Don't they have toilets in their own homes?!

I live in Australia, it's pretty common here. I got caught once though by police and charged. ended up going to court and paying $220 in fines. Haven't peed in public since.

I don't know where you live, but I have never seen anyone urinate in public...use the public toilets; how bad can they be?

Only in districts with bars, high poverty, or in secluded areas i.e. alleys and loading docks.

I always pee off my deck in the backyard, I have plenty of trees for cover so no one can see me, plus it keeps the bathroom that much cleaner, of course some flowers have died, but you cant make an omelete without breaking a few eggs.
