i have two questions really. Is it likely i will see the people i go to high school with in community college?
and is it normal that i just straight hate the people i go to high school with, i just want to never see them again however if i achieve my dreams they will see how successful ive been and wish they were closer to me.
This is my first year at community college and yes it is very likely that you will see people from high school there! In fact I thought the same thing as you. I didn't like anyone from high school and I never wanted to see them again. But now I have and some are in my classes. I really don't know what to think about it at this point. I never really had friends in high school and I do wish I was closer to people!
You may run into a few people here and there but for the most part, you probably won't see them. (Unless you live in, like, a tiny town or something.)
I ran into a few, but not enough for me to care. The college was only a couple miles from my hs, but there were also various campuses i attended and i took the opposite path of most of them (art).
Depends. What college are you going to? How close is it to your school? I know that when I went to community college, with the amount of people that went to the school that I graduated with previously, it might as well have been my second high school.
but there will also be other kids from like 4 different highschools possibly going there and you have to cut out the kids who are going to different colleges and the ones who dont give a shit about college
We had kids from other schools, older adults trying to go back to school and get a degree, and the like, but we also had a lot of kids from my high school attend. It just depends on the school really, but most of the kids that went to high school with me, I didn't really communicate with them. We really just passed each other and went on.
