Is it normal studying my butt off and still failing university?

I'm currently a freshmen. I study what I love and I really find everything so interesting. I know what I'm studying is correct for me...only one problem. It appears that I'm failing most of my main modules. We are only a hand full chosen for this career and now I'm going to stay behind a year if I don't pass this exam... I'm really nervous on failing...I never failed in my entire life... Maybe I'm failing because I was suppose to take a gap year? But i really wanted to start building on my own future...

Question remains...
Is it normal to fail your head module but pass the rest of the modules?

Talk to your professor and tell him what you are failing at and see if he has suggestions. Do you have a study buddy or a study group? That should help. If all else fails go smoke some weed and relax man!

not everyone should go to university , its not the lack of motivation . what happens is children get a lifetime of pampering in public education , then they are not prepared for learning in higher education, most of the time this is women. drop out and in ten -15 years you might want to try again. i think in your heart you already know the answer. you can't compete with the herd.

    • Wanna bet? ... I know I can do this. I'll never give up, this is my one and only dream and I'm going to make it happen no matter how hard I have to work, no matter how difficult it will be. I will do it.

    • Just so that you know. I thank you. You gave me the will to prove you wrong and so I did. I just got back my exam marks, and yet I did pass every single subject (even my core modules). Thank you so much :)
