@lizardskin of cause you can say pac is overrated just as some say to Em ,but in my opinion i think 2pac was uncomparable and bigger than rap culture itself , Pac was not realy a freestyle rapper he use to record as many records as he can ,i like your list is tight
Dr. Seuss is number one
Eminem number two
Um... is Nickelback a rapper? :/
@roseissabela dr dre is not a lyricist he don't write his own lyrics he uses ghostwriters, @rainbowdischarge good talk @kingcarrotflower i love underground hip hop too but just too hard to find its why i end up listening to mainstream hiphop but only real rappers@ givemefuckenamealready you right but if you talking about groups i love N.W.A and Bone Thugs & Harmony ,Naughty by nature ,Wu-tang clan and a tribe called quest and D12,@ faceless yeah Common you talkin'
1 Kendrick Lamar
2 kanye west
3 Danny Brown
4 mf doom
5 earl sweatshirt
That list would probably be insult to a hip hop veteran but I'm pretty new to it. plus I wasn't sure if it was based on personal preference, song structure, legacy or rapping prowess, I'd have different lists for each
Most generic list ever. You just picked the five most popular and they all suck.
1. Nicki MInaj
2.Taylor Swift rapped my life that once?
3. Dr. Seuss
4. Beyonce sometimes raps right?
5 All video game characters when I fast forward whatever they're saying...
Eminem
Big L
Biggie
Nas
Immortal Technique
Tupac would round out the top 10. Talk about overrated. Great story-telling. But his lyrical technical ability can't match anybody above. As I understand 2Pac couldn't even drop a freestyle.
I hated rap until my Fiancé had me listen to some pretty good underground artists a few years back. Ever since then, I've gotten into dancing around the house to it, but usually never anything you'd hear on the radio. That's garbage rap to me.
I've never extensively listened to B.I.G or Snoop Dogg, so I can't say whether they belong on this list. I'm okay everyone else.
Ummmm, I really like Busta Rhymes. Not his new shit tho. Like off The Coming and When disaster strikes albums. And also, I like some of Big L. Ohhhh and my favorite rap song atm is Big Pun and Fat Joes version of 'Deep cover' by dr. Dre with snoop. You should check it out.
Are there even two that could honestly be considered even not terrible?
