A guy that I've known since Pre-k has jus lately been ignoring me. One time we had to sit next to each other in class and he made excuses to the teacher. When she refused he asked the teacher if he could go to the bathroom. She didn't come out for like a hall hour. He also always makes his way to the other side of the classrooms so that I we never would have to interact. He talks to about every single girl in class but me. He used to be fine with sitting next to me too until this year. Is it normal that he obsessively tries to avoid me??

    I understand how this can be hurtful and upset, even awkward. Just, don't talk to him. Talk to everyone but him. Don't make it seem like you have any interest in speaking with him. I'm not saying to ignore him if he does talk to you. I'm just saying, don't be interested. When he gets paired with you in class, don't get excited about it...

    The only time I might overly ignore a girl when I was younger would be if I really liked her and wanted to be with her but she has rejected me...then to avoid me seeing her and keeping those feelings alive I would avoid her to let those feelings die down

    he probably doesn't want other girls to think you guys are dating (bc he may have a crush)or his friends may have teased him about you guys

    To answer the first question he's not very popular. I'm not saying that I am but we really both have the same amount of popularity.

    are you "popular" in school? is he "popular"? if u arent and he is then hes probably just trying to make himself look better. ive had some problems like that when my friends started putting me down to make themselves look better. after
    school try to ask him why hes acting so weird. if he doesnt answer or is mean to you, hes not worth it.
