I was at school last Friday and I told a teacher everything what was wrong, he then told me not be scared, cuddled me, held my hands and then he kissed me. He is a one on one music teacher so it can't be that bad? It's only happened once.
He acted very unprofessionally. Don't allow this to happen again. His career and dignity should be more important to him.
the question is...
what kind of kiss was it and was this romantic or did it make you feel funny?
A hug doesn't necessarily mean anything, depending on how long it was etc. Even a kiss can be innocent - such as a kiss on the top of the head.
What may matter as well is... how old the OP is.
Comforting you should be okay, but kissing? I'm sure he didn't mean anything bad by it, I get the vibe that he just wanted to make you feel better. Regardless of his intent it was unprofessional, though. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but if it makes you uncomfortable tell him not to kiss you.

No its not normal, especially if you too don't have that 'kind' of relationship.
If he's a high school teacher--WOAH scandal.
A short hug is okay, but holding hands and kissing you is going too far. He's not allowed to do such things.
