Is it normal that dead things scare me?

Im much more afraid of dead animals than alive. I love animals and even pests I care about, it's when they die that I freak out. I'm not afraid of gore, death itself nor the insects eating them. There's just something about those flattened stiff bodies that shoots pure fear and dread into me, especially if it's lizards, mice and frogs. Is this normal?

    i like watching them get ate up in fast time lapse motion. it saves a lot of time.
