You could come off as someone who's weird. Back in middle school no one would really be my partner for any subject. Also, the says something funny but no one laughs bit could be because what you said wasn't funny. Sometimes in life, especially in school, you could feel out of place. However, life gets better as you progress. Forget what others think and do what you want.

It could be that you're different. I've always be different, "strange". I stand out from most people. I used to have quirky friends and I felt like I belonged. Maybe, you could find people like you? Don't waste your time with the people that are mean to you.

maybe you're different thats all, differnet can be annoying and lonely at times but you can meet interesting people along the way, just smile and make yourself happy

i can 100% relate. everyone patronises me in school like im a little child, i dont mind but sometimes it makes me look weak. and everytime i say something silly as joke your something harmless no one cares your tell me to just stfu. but when THEY do it, its the most hilarious thing thats happend all day and it pisses me off, then i go bipolar and ignore my friends and they never care. i hate it. if we were friends i would be nice to you and be your partner in class, cause i cant stand the short pathetic one in school alone

my situation is somewhat similar im not the most social by any means but when i do try to get in on conversations im very invisible to others i almost always get cut off and try to repeat but end up feeling like an annoying outsider and give up. and the group thing i just assume im the least liked friend people never sit next to me so i usually have a comfortable space cushion. i dont smell bad and i hope im not ugly id like to say im fairly average looking. anyway i guess my point is your not the only one sorry long comment

i have this exact same problem. people really don't like me. i think and this could have something to do with it for you also that people can't hear me that well and it is to much of an effort to try and hear me. also i am ugly.

lol you kinda understand me, because i have the same situation only i think a little worst because i think most of them hates me or doesnt like me because time to time they like to make fun of me and when i stand up for myself they become angry and when i dont they look at me like im a wimp or some sort of tool and what i dont like most is that either way they all abonden me or leave me completly alone by myself they distands themself from me. but be careful in those type of situation it sounds like they can easily take advantage or abuse you my best advice is that forget the rest and just make yourself happy.

It's just like that sometimes. I am a.....somewhat popular person. More known than liked, I'd say. But, when you make a joke and no one laughs, that's because you're not viewed as playful and silly. I know I've said some really funny things in class before, but no one laughs because I am quiet and quirky, but if the class clown had said it, they would have been laughing so hard! It's unfair, but you have to improve your image. Step out of your comfort zone. Be more "inviting". There's nothing wrong with the way you are, you remind me of me, but, if you want people to stop viewing you as weird, make small steps towards changing. (Is a high-schooler dealing with this too)

well i am clean, i have good hair and i go 2 a private school so of course i drees properly, but wen i do join conversation or try 2, pl just ignore me, but like i sed the older highschoolers admirer me, not the ppl in my own grade...
