Is it normal that everything looks like static?

I've just learnt about something called "visual snow" which I assumed was normal. Everything looks a bit like static. MY favourite word to describe it is "fizzly". It's like everything is covered in tiny dots. I've experienced this my whole life and thought everyone gets it. I've also noticed sometimes I'll see something, like a little light in the corner of my eye, and then it disappears.
Does anyone else know what I mean??? It's super weird to me that this isn't normal.... now that I've noticed that it might not be, it's frustrating me.

    I call them sparkles bc I only see it when I look at bright or white objects. The sky or a piece of paper. I’m extremely sensitive to light the image of that light will stay in my eyes for about 10 minutes. And I have probably 6-10 floaters all the time. I’ve never been to a doctor for it and I don’t get migraines or headaches.

    These types of visual disturbances are often connected to migraine. If you get them often though i'd suggest you check your eyesight

    I have visual snow too. In my opinion, it’s probably not as rare as people say it is, it just isn’t well known or well researched.

    Me too!I see small sparks of light looking at the sky, white walls and really dark rooms.

    Almost sounds like you're describing "Floaters". They look kinda like debris on a lens, but move as if they're in liquid -- hence the name. https://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/spotsfloats.htm
