Is it normal that i act like an anime girl?

Hello! This is my first post on isitnormal.com!
I am quite obsessed with anime and manga and that sort of thing, and most of the anime I watch is mostly female characters. Anyway, I am Male, I do not want to be Female, but I really want to be like my favorite anime characters who are female. Quite often I will act like my favorite anime characters and end up acting sort of 'cute'. I don't know if this is wierd or not, any helpful comments will be appreciated. Please be nice, I don't want any hate or negative comments thank you, I am dead serious about this question. Thank you :)

    It's fine but it seems like it could be awkward or annoying in outside social situations. I guess you need to be more specific on what you're actually doing

    You should try cosplaying then. It'll give you a chance and excuse to act whatever you want when you attend some anime convention.

    I was like this in junior high and wouldn't recommend it. People found it annoying, since the way characters act in anime isn't how people act in real life, so it comes across as strange. I wouldn't recommend it. There are other ways for you to express your connection to these characters, like through cosplay, drawing, or writing about them, and those are more socially acceptable.

    It's about as normal as anything in the anime community.

    I like anime but i don't act it out, so i guess it is not normal but it's nothing to be ashamed of

    I remember back in high school when people pretended to act like anime characters. Some even went as far as to use Japanese words they couldn't pronounce and pretend they knew more about Japan than anyone else. I found these people hard to deal with. It's fine to be obsessed with anime/hobbies, but altering your own personality to be like them is just not normal.
