Is it normal that i almost strangled my kitten?

I was lying on the couch with one of my kittens when suddenly it went to hop off.
I dont know what happened or why i did it but i really didn't want to be left alone so i grabbed at it.
It kept trying to run so i put my hand around its neck and squeezed.
It was scratching at my arm and i could see the blood but all i could feel was my rage.
When i realised what i was doing i dropped the kitten and broke out into hysterical cries.
Is this normal?

    You sound like you're hurting inside D: Maybe you should go see help or something. Like a counselor, to help work out any problems you have. Or you can talk to me or something! I did something similar to this when i was 7 to my kitty.. I've regretted it ever since, it kills me x.x
    Try taking a deep breath next time when something doesn't happen the way you want it.

    Strangling small animals is an extremely healthy thing to do. 9 out of 10 doctors and some pharmacists recommend the strangling or choking of a kitten or puppy at least once a week to maintain a healthy immune system. They also recommend the running down of a stranger, preferably one on a bicycle. The strangers death is not the strictly necessary, it is enough that they be seriously injured.

    You know I do think this is normol if it was bothering you , sometimes animals can be pesteruing you just lost your temper on it and it took you a minute realize what you were doing .

    I didn't write this to "troll" I wrote this for a strangers opinion.
    I didn't go to a psychiatrist because i wasn't sure if it was a big enough deal.
    Obviously it is.
    My kittens fine, my brother is temporarily looking after it.
    I'm not some sick psychotic person.
    I don't think so anyway.
    But just in case I've got an appointment with a psych tomorrow.
    Thanks for giving me your opinions, however rude some may have been.

      It actually isn't. If that was so, murderers would be the ones that slaughter animals for our meats. Also, it's spelled "serial", I don't think anyone plans to be a murderer of coco pops.

        It actually is, you dumb ass. Look it up, 99% of all serial killers started out by acting out their fantasies on animals first. There is a reason why domestic abuse rates are so high among families that have slaughterhouse workers in them. Just the truth, broseph.

          Actually, once again you're wrong. 99% of serial killers haven't started out on animals. The fact that not even 60% serial killers are pblicized doesn't give you any logic on the matter.

          Yeah, the fact that this person admits they were angry and then cried after doing it shows that they did have an emotional response to what they done. Maybe he/she has an anger problem, but we all have done something stupid in the heat of the moment when we're raging for some reason.
