Is it normal that i am addicted to harry potter series?

I've read all the Harry Potter books 2 times and when I finished my seconds cycle a week ago I felt like I had lost a friend. I have always been a keen reader but now books seem less appealing to me and boring compared to the Harry P. series. I really don't know what to do. I feel like I'm in a dream world and everything seems boring. Is this normal?

Meh kinda. You should watch A Very Potter Musical on You Tube, it's hilarious!

Thanks, I already kinda new the answer to my question but I still feel lost. I know life has to go on, but i just can't resist reading the 7th book, just ONE more time! I also just finished re-watching the movies today! I bought the whole set, and I bought the Harry Potter Good vs. Evil cardgame set!

I COMPLETELY understand what your saying. When you delve into the world of harry potter, it's hard to snap back into real life. Real life just seems dull, boring, and unsatisfying compared to the life of a character in harry potter. It's the worst feeling in the world to want something so deeply, but know that it will never be a reality. Sure I fantasize about some day finally finding the ability to do magic & live an enchanted life, but what are the REAL chances of that happening? And that my friend, is what depresses me.

If you're older try giving The Dark Tower series by Stephen King a chance. It's a 7-book series that's a combination of Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings, and a western.
