Is it normal that i am afraid of people touching my back?

when I was 11 or 12 years old I was pushed into a cement staircase at my middle school. And I hit my knee real hard, ever since then I've been afraid and I'm now 20 years old. Is it normal that I have a fear of people touching my back?

Oh! I thought you meant it this way:

When I was in second grade, my only best friends were boys and I was the only girl. They were touching eachother's backs and "felt the hairs". They asked me if they could touch mine and I said, "Sorry. It's rude to touch a girl's back." Anyways, they would have to pull my jumper up to do it (we had uniforms).

I literally flip out if certain people touch my back.

I don't even like some of my friends touching and feeling on my back. It makes me very uncomfortable, sends a cringe/shiver through all of my body, and it makes me either ill tempered or scared. I really hate it when people touch my hair and go down my back in a sloping direction stopping just barely above my bum....

    It really disturbs me....

I can understand why you are, but you should see someone about getting over this fear. See a therapist or a psychologist, it should help.

I'm 23 and I get very uncomfortable when anyone touches my bare back... Unless its during sex. If someone does touch my back I squirm and become nervously and ill tempered.

It's not normal but it's understandable. As Lightning said see someone about it and you can probably cure it.
