Is it normal that i am afraid to have kids?
I don't want to have children because I am afraid of having a strong emotional attachment to another person. What if something bad were to happen to them? How do people cope with that?

Very normal to have worries, but the rewards of having kids is so much greater than the worries!
It can be normal to fear children before they are even born most mothers have that feeling before their first child.
You cope with what you have to cope with. Deal with one thing at a time. We wasn't ever promised a rose garden, so to speak. I have been through a lot in my two decades of life, but I come through it all pretty strong for what I had to endure. You have to face life boldly. You can not let in run you over. You have to make your head up to be tough. I have two youngons that I love more than my own life hisself, but if something happened to them I would just keep on going. Yeah, it WOULD hurt. But I WOULD live on and be still stronger. I would much rather be tyhe fox than the rabbit. The fox is cunning and smart. The rabbit is always on the run, because lots of critters love rabbit stew, hon.
