Yeah it's perfectly fucking normal to be sarcastic all the time. Don't worry, nobody thinks your an asshole.
You must know, though. If someone sees you helping a bishop and asks if you are helping the bishop and you say, "No, I'm up in outer space doing important research for NASA" you must know that you've been sarcastic because you, yourself, can see that you are helping a bishop.
No it's just because they ask such a stupid question that I can't help myself from being sarcastic
"I don't even know when I'm being sarcastic"
Now you have be confused. You don't know when you're sarcastic yet you know why you're being sarcastic and that you're being sarcastic.
Mmkay.
To be honest, I can be like that too. I just wanted an opportunity to quote the most sarcastic priest in Ireland (which is what I did).
Yeah because people can never do something subconsciously without thinking about it (sorry couldn't resist using sarcasm on a thread about someone spewing out constant sarcasm). It's like compulsive lying. Obviously the person thinks about the lie but they don't realize they're doing it until the aftermath. They don't consciously think "okay I am going to tell a lie", it just comes out impulsively. This person sounds like they do the same except with sarcasm. When things become a habit they become so ingrained and natural to you that you don't even realize you're doing it until after you do.
Ahh, I know. I can be very sarcastic too. But it's like swearing, isn't it? If I'm in certain company, I don't swear. Although, having said that I was once massively sarcastic to my boss and it was met with a stunned silence. I was about 19 and he was in his thirties and I completely skewered him. For the life of me, I don't know where it came from. It just bubbled up and I had to say it.
Well at least people know when you're being sarcastic. Whenever I'm sarcastic people seem to not realize it and just take me seriously. It's annoying having to explain when you're being sarcastic.
Yeah I'm always like that but that's because people are fucking retards and they ask normal question once a year.
My Mother has accused me of being sarcastic. Both of my parents are sarcastic but I am usually careful regarding who I am sarcastic with.
To me, it is just regular humor but for people who aren't used to that kind of company, being asked "What are you doing?" when you're changing a tire and responding "Can't you see I'm balancing my checkbook?!" would be seen as you insulting their intelligence (as in, they think you honestly believe that they couldn't tell you were changing a tire). Either that or they'd be really confused, which is typical of people with NO HUMOR!
Don't be sarcastic with anyone that is easy to offend and please be careful of your context. Using sarcasm in a serious situation would be highly inadvisable.
I have the same problem. SOmetimes I am told that I am too frank and that I need to put some water in my wine but I really don't know when I'mlike that because I sincerely think that I'm okay. So to avoid I stay alone and don't talk to people especially when I'm at work
I'm NEVER sarcastic. Lies!! If sarcasm was an object, id fuck it. Well that didn't come out quite right
