Is it normal that i am not on facebook?

Well I surely used Facebook for some time in a normal way.I had friends there and a social network . The mistake I did was that I started uploading my own pictures and some of my idiot friends copied those pictures .The next day ,I got so many requests from fake Id's containing my own name and my own pic .I was in such a shock that i decided to remove all my pictures from Facebook and deactivated my account .From that day ,I am a complete hater of Facebook .

    I have never even been on Facebook. If I want to talk to friends I'll talk to them face to face. It is silly, and almost nobody from real-life seems to miss me online, so why bother? Most of my friends are either not on it or never use it either.

    facebook has replaced smoking, people go on their facebook break and chat to other facebookers who are also taking a facebook break.
    some people try to quit but relapse others quit successfully. im not a heavy facebooker but id still like to quit... for my health , im the only one in my family that uses facebook and their is a certain stigma to it.

    your friends are truly idiots and a nuissance, what they have done is childish.

    facebook is a tool to connect yourself to your friends and read up on the latest hoo hah, it aint bad, but I guess your friends gave you a bad start.

    Its normal not to use facebook, you don't have to own a facebook to stay sociable. You can mingle around people at social gatherings and stuff. If people in the past could do that, i dont see why you can't.

    as a matter a fact, not having a facebook is a good thing, you won't be obsessed over checking it daily.

    I don't know I was a late bloomer for a while and then got one. Its nice to see what people are doing since high school been about 7 years. So many people have kids and crap. It's weird. For some it may be addicting but for me it's informative

    If used correctly, Facebook can have a amazing effect on your life. However, it's easy to be dragged into a Facebook addiction, which is actually a serious problem nowadays.

    Like I said though, it's great for keeping in touch with friends, advertising and many other things...
