Is it normal that i am slow

every one notice this and tell me...my dad ,when i was kid ...hey you are lazy,r u alright?
i did not realised till it started affecting my studies...very badly,i still have to study much longer than other and than lags behind!
but when it comes to achieving small goals like test with fewer topics i usually tops, gets an A+.
over the years i have noticed i am slow and i do not catch up with world pace,i have stopped dreaming or aimming thinking i would be left behind in competition,i have failed in some competitive exams in past.
is there any solution to my situation?
i do not play and socialize since childhood .i eat less.i feel a lot sleepy, may be thats my escape from my not so good reality!

  • Im really slow too. Really lazy, lack alot of energy during the day (sleep in class).
fail to study/read like when I read a text but then I suddenly start to think about something else but kinda continue to read and then I have no idea what I just read.

My advice is to eat more healthy food and workout or exercise. Sleep around 10 hours really helps too. Also drop eating much candy/chocolate that contains sugar or energy boost, that goes for soda too. You dont have to drop it completly but just dont eat much of it.

I dont know if your living healthy or not, but from my experience since last year, I would say I have improved alot since I have started being more healthy. Although, I am probably the slowest person in my class.

You also need to eat regulary like breakfast when you wake up. Eat lunch 2-4 hours later and then maybe another meal before dinner depending on when you eat dinner, and then another meal before you go to bed unless you eat dinner that late.

I'm always slow like when I'm talking it takes me about four minutes to recollect what they said! But then again it's just because they talk about stupid stuff!

Don't let people judge you. I've said a couple ditzy comment's infront of certain people in my past, and they were quick to say I was slow. And I know for a fact I'm not slow at all! People are too quick to judge even when they don't really know you. Don't underestimate yourself, and what you could possibly be capable of. It sound's like you're a little depressed. You say that you haven't socialized since childhood, you eat less, and feel sleepy? And to top it off, you think you have something wrong with you leaving you to ask if their's a solution to your problem. I think the people around you might be getting to your head, and it's starting to bother you. Just because you need to study a little bit harder then other's does not make you slow. You have no goal's? No motivation? When you said you have stopped dreaming, and aiming for thing's, this is clearly a sign of depression. And yes, depression can slow a person down, but physically. It doesn't necessarily mean mentally. I think people sometime's misinterpret depression. These people might think you're slow, but you aren't. You've probably been taken over by depression, and the depression is making you appear slower. If anything, I think you should seek help from a counselor.
