if you have a high school lets say 400 students and 30 whites make it to honors english, does it mean all whites are brilliant? no so naturally if the school is 10 percent black only one would be expected in the honors english class. it means you are representing and do well in english.
Thanks for the quantitative observation. Way too many people reach invalid conclusions because they are bad at math. A Chi-square distribution will tell you the degree to which black kids are over or under represented in the sample. Our aspiring OP should consider Honors Statistics.
If you're not happy with your grades you can complain to the administration and your teachers will be scared of looking racist so you can basically manipulate them. Take advantage of your situation.
Intelligence is not based on race or skin color. There are brilliant people of every race and skin color. You should be proud!
Some cultures are more advance than others. you should be proud to be on wave length of a white. you are a very good inspiration for your people. steer them in the right direction and perhaps one day you may be as good as us.
Blacks are a minority in the U.S. Nevertheless, it is a little strange you're the only one out of 20-30 people.
I find that very strange. When I was in high school I was only one of two white students in advanced biology. The rest of the students were black, asian, middle eastern, hispanic, etc.
I was the only Catholic in my high school Jewish studies class. What does that mean?
Sounds like me in school. Except I'm mixed. In my case I was in a predominantly white school so I stood out all the time. What's the demographic in your school?
