I believe in things such as magic, aliens (though they haven't been ruled out yet), monsters, etc. Do you think that's normal? I've never actually seen one, but I believe it is possible.

Yes there is. If you believe in something, you act as if it exists. Acting as if ghosts or monsters existed would result in illogical behaviour that might cause harm to the OP or to others around him/her. Furthermore the burden of proof is always upon the claimant, not the denier.
In other words things should be assumed not to exist until they have been proven to exist. This is because anything could potentially exist and acting as if every potential thing existed would be ridiculous. For example I could suggest that there is an invisible crocodile that will kill your parents if you stop reading this post. But you're still going to stop reading it, because I haven't put forward any evidence for my invisible, patricidal crocodile.

I have the perfect opportunity coming up- they plan to go on a road trip next weekend, I could spike their drinks the night before. I'd have to cut them up and dump the evidence in a canal. As far as I know they left to go on a 'road trip'
I'd have the perfect alibi if I give my credit card to a friend and tell him to go o a different city and use it at a hotel ect..

well aliens definitely do exist, just be absolutely bonkers if in an universe so super massive we were the only example of intelligent life.
Monster is subjective, is a grizzly bear a monster? It will rip your face off if you disturb it. Some sea creatures look horrifying.
Magic is definitely possible, although its normally a clever combination of manipulating minds, and using reality in unusual ways, i.e. some effort is required.
I think this is a lot of the reason the Harry Potter series was so popular. In most of the series, non magical people (muggles) would have no idea that magic existed and so it could fit into this reality.
I think if there's aliens they're probably like, bugs and stuff.
As for magic.... hell yes.
I agree with you to an extent. I do believe in certain things that most people don't believe in, but not believe-in-God type of believing.
People think i am crazy but i agree with you man they are out there and they don't want us to know it man.
