Is it normal that i believe this about life?

Life isn't just about being born, growing up, getting an education/job, and having a family. There's more to life than that. I believe that life isn't just about these things. I believe that Life is about doing what you can for society and the world as a whole (It's not about you at all). It took me a while to realise this but now I know. That's why someday I'll be a Firefighter and I'll do my job without payment as a volunteer (I could always have a 2nd job somewhere) and should I ever want kids, I can adopt from Foster Care because those kids need parents much more than kids need to be born. I can always donate to charities and work in soup kitchens too as further bonuses. It's like that saying: "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."

    I admire your optimism, and you'll probably turn out to be one of the better people in our society, however, unless you have the wherewithal to do those things, you're in for a rude awakening.

    I don't know why anyone would vote this not normal.

    I will never understand why the average person is brainwashed to want the same things out of live as everyone else. Sounds like a waste of life to me.

    People who live with adventure and try to make the world a better place will usually have a better life than most people.

    There is a common attitude that it is selfish or arrogant to think and do things for yourself. It is a shame because when you are happy, content and can truly say you love yourself this will naturally spread to others.

    Hmm thats seems to be your calling in life. And who knows maybe it will change through out life. Im sure alot will have different purposes thats speaks to them.
