Is it normal that i call my dog these things?
I call my dog "Baby", "Darling", and "Sweetheart" because she's very sweet and precious to me. Is it normal to give terms of endearment to a dog? Do any of you do it too?

No way, I think you should see a doctor. Calling your dog "sweetheart"? Who does that?!
Apart from every fucking dog owner on the planet, I mean.
I call my sister's Poodle Doobie and I call my Siamese Boo G. and Pookey. We used to have a Collie in our family and she was called Marooha, Marooky and Goof Troop.

Poor little guy! You can learn some tips watching Dog Whisperer. Try being really calm and patient with him. You can crouch down behind him and gently pet him saying things like, "you're such a good boy!" "Yeah, buddy it's Ok, just be calm" say this in a soft, gentle, loving voice. Also, reward him as much as possible. If he doesn't come to you, attach a rope to him, say come, and then pull the rope so he comes to you. When he comes give him a treat, pet him, and say, "good boy" in a nice voice. Eventually, he will come without the rope. To make him calm you can take both of your hands and push with your fingers on each side of the body at the same time. This relaxes the dogs muscles. You can also massage his ears to make him calmer (find on youtube for exact technique). In general, pay attention to your tone and demeanor because dogs really pick up on that. You might be scary to him, keep in mind that you tower over this little guy. Kneel down to his level as much as possible. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!
