Why not 28? 28 is an even number and closer to the volume he wanted. P.S. You have OCD enjoy.
Hmmm I think I have this in a different way. Some evens are okay but others are not. I'll just go through 30 with the ones that are okay.
1 2 3 4 5 6 8 10 12 15 16 20 24 25 and 30.
Loads of people do this. It's not hurting anyone and anyways it's nice to be on a channel number that is divisible by 2.
My TV is connected to the stereo speakers and the volumn control is just a dial, no numbers. I just eyeball the little light indicator.
I do similar with my TV but for a different reason probably. My volume is always either 10, 12, 15 or 17.
17 for when something noisy is happening outside. 15 for normal daytime viewing. 12 after about 10pm (and the neighbours are trying to sleep) and 10 when I'm watching at 3am and it's so quiet outside that I still hear the TV. I've kind of worked out over time that these are the right volumes for the situation, so I've just stuck with that.
Yeah I do that too, the volume has to be divisible by 2 or 5. And when changing channels I never use the channel "up" button. Oh and I have been clinically diagnosed with OCD, you might want to look into it.
