Is it normal that i can't put clothes on right out of the shower?

When I'm wet or even damp I can't put my clothes on, or if I do it takes like 20 minutes to tug my pants up and even then I can't get them on all the way, and my shirt is all twisted and I can't fix it til I'm dry. So I usually need to let myself dry off completely, meaning get out of the bathroom in my towel (bathrobe won't go on either) and just laying on my bed til I'm dried. Then I get dressed quickly.

No I get that lol I like taking hot showers and when I get out the room is all steamy so it's hard to dry off all the way, so I can't get dressed right from the shower, I gotta go out into my room which is normal temp and dry off the rest of the way

I see, maybe you should lower the temperature for the last few minutes and open a window to let the steam out. I find that if i have a hot shower, i am sweaty again soon after.

I think it's normal. For anyone who says it's not, let's get them naked, hose them down, and get them to put their clothes on while wet and suggest something is perhaps wrong with this. When they say, "Yes, you are hosing me down while I'm putting my clothes on", we'll say "So you'd prefer to be dry while putting clothes on? Don't make me do this again". Then we'll spray their Alsatians and put clothes on those dogs too just to drive the point home.

The bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan to remove the steam? It doesn't have a window or door you can open to let the steam out? It must get very mouldy and unhealthy in there, or do you take half hour showers? In which case, how about you stop wasting so much water & the power to heat it?

If the towel you intend to use after your shower stays in the bathroom while you're having a steamy shower it will get damp and won't dry you properly.

You could use a hairdryer on cool to dry your body and then use cornstarch or talcum powder (cornstarch is much healthier for you).

I know what you mean. I have to exit the bathroom, to get away from the steam. I have to be bone dry when putting on my clothes.

Ah you must be referring to the tugging up the pants part lmao I wear jeans and they cling to my legs when they're damp or wet that's what I meant
