Is it normal that i can't sit still when i read about the human body?

When I am reading my biology books about anatomy, I get a funny feeling and I can't just sit still and read, I move around in the chair, I try to correct my posture, etc. I don't get sick from looking at pictures or thinking about the organs and blood, I just keep moving in my seat, changing my position. Is it normal?

seeing the inards of the human body makes you externally aware of them so you try to actively use them as though you had hidden motor skills.

Yes of course! It would've been nice if your story had more details, but here's my take on this:

I do the exact same thing, and my reasoning behind it is that when reading about blood, anatomy, etc., I become acutely aware of my own body and possible injuries I may acquire. So if I'm sitting with my legs crossed when reading about it/seeing it, I get this ridiculous fear that having my legs crossed will damage the veins in the leg on the bottom, so I try to sit with my legs uncrossed and my arms relaxed.

    I think it's normal! :)
