Is it normal that i can't stick to one thing to do at a time?

I can never finish a task. I always do something else every single moment. It's like something new pops up in my mind, and I have to go and do that. When I watch a movie, I pause it most of the time to check facebook or twitter for updates. After that I do something else and its usually an hour before I continue the movie again. Not only this. I'm so disorganized I can't manage my time properly and I usually end up worrying and cramming in the end. Is this normal?

If you set out to do too much, you will only end up stressed. Worse still, you will forget to celebrate what has been achieved because youll be beating yourself up for whats still to be done.

Paradoxically, the less time you actually work, the more you sometimes achieve. Make sure you take time off for yourself.

There's a way around most things. You simply need to take your brain out of gear and let it rest a bit. Whatever it is thats stressing you, see if you can find a way to bypass the cause.

Deadlines can create positive stress as they approach, spurring you into action. You will often produce better work when up against a deadline. Try setting your own deadlines.

I've been having the same problem lately but I think it's the meds I'm on I wake up after about 3 hours get out of bed tell myself what I need to do in the next hour like cook breakfast for my boyfriend then clean the kitchen and as I'm telling myself this I'm also thinking I wonder if I got more farmville gifts then new thought well I have about 3 hours before I have to cook lunch and get on Facebook then coupons.com and it keeps branching off until I have about 30 minutes to get lunch done clean the kitchen and do the laundry I'm constantly back and forth between my room the kitchen and my computer it's been driving me nuts I have a mountain of unfolded clean laundry an art project and home improvement project now and I keep telling myself I'm gonna finish everything today but it never gets finished because I start then drift into procrastination nation and it gets put off except for cooking and the dishes these are mandatory and I have to pry myself away from the screen

have a better understanding of mind, mind will create thoughts all the times...its upto u to select one and stick to it.
how can u develop this?let the new thought come write it on paper but do not entertain it,understand that life is fruitful if u do not act impulsive,or its thorns will bite you always.
practice for small tasks first, building confidence to go the big ones...
try relaxation techniques like meditation(search brahmakumaris for free meditation).
