Yes it's normal. You are a procrastinator. Bad habit. I do the same thing.

Scientifically proven you remember things when you study them the night before and sleep on it. Works for me!

I do that too, but it's not procrastination. I just can't remember shit if I study it earlier in the week. It has to be the night before/that day.

Unfortunately this is very normal, especially in boys.

I do it too. If I know I've got 12 hours work to do over the weekend, I'll think, "Well, there's at least 12 hours in Sunday, so I'll take Saturday off". Then I'll work out how late I can start on Sunday and still get in a few hours sleep before work on Monday. It usually ends up with a 3am finish and then me unshaven the next day because I didn't have time.

I totally do this too! What kid of helps me to is studying in class before the test Like reviewing it real quick before the test so it can be fresh in my mind!!! I do this a lot unless it's math xD

I found that it helps to sleep right after studying. Somehow the brain reorganizes it and then, when you wake up, you revise and it's sunk in properly. I doubt that it only works the night before though. You might have to study a little more all in all if you do it in advance but then no big rush of anxiety either.

I was like that in high school. I always procrastinated, and ironically when I studied at around midnight, I'd wake up in the morning, go to school, take the test, and bam! I'd do great! I would get like a 90 something, but then if I studied earlier in the day, I wouldn't do so well. My parents used to get on my case about it, but it was so weird how backwards I had it. I'd do my best thinking when I was really ready to sleep, and in the day time I wasn't containing the information as easily. It made absolutely no sense. I heard about a study that was done on that though.

Haha! I remember always trying to explain it to my parents. They thought I was full of shit.

But... Shackleford is right, it's a bad habit to get into.
