Is it normal that i can't take showers during a certain time of day?

For some reason, I have this problem with taking a shower during certain periods of the day. If its after 12:00 AM and the day is nearing the afternoon and people are out and about then, I can't take a shower. I don't know why but the idea of during such a thing makes me feel vulnerable and panicked. I have felt this way for a very long time and I no longer remember when or why this fear started.

Is it normal? Or, should I bring this up with my therapist?

I would gladly come in and take a powerdump at the same time. It may start to stink ok?

I'm not afraid. I'll fight an intruder buck ass naked if necessary.

When I lived in the dorms, I definitely felt strange sometimes when I'd shower at like 2 - 3 in the afternoon. But it didn't bother me at all, and I just walked down the hall with nothing but a towel on.

I would bring this up with your therapist and see where it takes you. I have never heard of this but perhaps you can find out what triggered this and how it manifested. Good luck !

Definitely NOT normal to be scared to shower if anything you would think it would be scarier to shower late at night for fear of someone breaking in to your home, and catching you in a vulnerable state such as being naked. I agree with itsallgoodok, talk to your doctor!

Never heard of this phobia. Sounds like you are afraid of people walking in on you showering? Yes, talk to your therapist.
