Is it normal that i can't think better without something in my hands?

Okay, I know that sounds weird so let me explain a bit better. So basically for as long as I can remember, I usually do most of my critical thinking with something in my hands, usually an action figure or something. Now I know how that sounds, and I don't "play" with these figures anymore, I just keep them around because they were gifts when I was younger. However, I've found that I subconsciously reach for them and mess with them whenever I'm thinking about or watching something, and I'll have them move around and stuff but it's not even that I want to play with them, I just find that I do this sometimes. Is that weird? Also, does anyone know why I'm doing this subconsciously?

Kids channel their thoughts through their toys when they play with them. I still play with toys when I need to do something boring like laundry or wiping cum off my dog's asshole.
