Is it normal that i can't write any stories?

Ideas are everywhere but portraying a concept is really difficult. I write novels and I get writer's block in different ways. Sometimes I know what I want to write and how I want it to turn out but I can't get the pacing right or none of my sentences come out witty enough or whatever. Sometimes the place in your mind where you pull text from just isn't being cooperative. Normal for all writers.

I have some weird advice, this is just something that helps me. When I have writer's block a lot of the time it's a self-esteem issue where I feel I'm not producing anything decent so I don't want to try. So I'll read a piece of writing that's poorly written, or something with cliche content. Usually this makes me feel a burst of energy toward my own writing because I look at it and I'm like, 'well, it could be worse.'

As another commentator said above, weve all got stories that seem fantastic, But executing them? that's another story (Pardon the pun) altogether

Most people can make uo fantastic stories in their head but to actually put it on paper is another thing. I really think that you may not be gifted with this talent. Try something else.

Maybe writing isn't your thing. You might get torn apart by squirrels while in the Netherlands.

I don't remeber the movie buy it had the one guy from The Hangover, the one guy with a kid but he was a writer having a hard time and took LSD and he became a millionaire because it opens you all your senses are being used.
