Is it normal that i cannot go in my room knowing a dead moth is there?

There were two moths in my room today, flying in circles on my ceiling. Once I noticed this, I grabbed my laptop and ran out of my room screaming, and had to send someone in to kill it. My friend believes she killed it, though she didn't see where it landed. Now, I cannot even step in my room.

What the fuck is wrong with you? a dead moth??? what could possibly be more harmless than that??

Actually, i have heard rumours that when moths die, they come back to life and suck your blood...!!!

I'm not quite sure. I've always been slightly afraid of them, but a while ago, I had a nightmare about them, and now, I'm terrified. I'm not sure what triggered the nightmare, though.

Why are you afraid of moths?

  • I can kinda relate. To this day I won't go in a room where I know a bee is, living or dead.

I'm 19. It wasn't a small moth- it was probably the biggest one I've ever seen. I have some sort of insect phobia, and it's worst for moths.

It seems you have a severe case of being a little bitch. I'm prescribing a heavy dose of man the fuck up.

I never understood the ''I'm going to die if that tiny bug is in my room. KILL IT NOW'' mentality. The fact is, it's a tiny bug. It won't do you any harm. Just go out and kill the bug, and throw it away.

I still, to this day don't understand that perception about bugs.

Seriously how old are you? You shouldn't be scared of a moth (especially a dead one). Just go into your room and forget about it. I'm sure that you will never see that moth again if you just forget about it. If you go on a trek around your room with a baggie looking for it, you will be bound to freak out. Open your window and the angel moths from heaven (aka the wind) will take it away. If you do find it, it's not as if you're picking up a dead body, just get a paper towel and throw it in the trash. Hope I made you see sense.

Depends how big it is, one time i killed a spider and i would not go in my room for ages, i was unsure if it was 100% dead (if its a small moth) then stop being a pansy

You need to relax, go in there with a baggie or a paper towel, check your bed and your chairs and wherever you will be laying or sitting and if they are not there, then you probably won't ever notice their tiny little carcasses.
