  • Not all dogs drool like that. I have a big pit bull that drools for his own food, but normally doesnt bother me when I am eating.

I would rather have a bunch of dogs drooling around me while I am eating, then a bunch of stupid people at a dinner party or some shit.

I get revenge by drooling on my dog while he's eating.

Hah. I thought this was gonna be something about the way they look at you, as if they're desperate and starving, haven't been fed in years and NEED your food. Drives me mad when my dog did that.

But yes, the drool is gross, I can see why it would be off putting. In fact, thinking about it now, I've lost my appetite. Lunch goes back in the fridge. Blah.

  • My neighbor had a bullmastiff that drooled 24/7. He'd walk up to you and you'd end up with a ton of slobber on your leg.

I've only ever had dry-mouthed dogs and looking at them while eating has been fine. I suppose I know what you mean, though. It's slightly off-putting. In the same vein, I could never watch a program about surgery or a nature documentary about insects while eating.
